Privacy Policy

1. Data Collected

Pocket Convert collects no personal data and operates no server holding your information. Only the third-party advertising provider described in section 3 processes data, and only if you consent to it.

No Account Creation

Pocket Convert does not require account creation. You can use the app immediately without providing personal information.

Data Stored on Your Device Only

The app saves some information locally, purely to work properly. It is never transmitted, synced or backed up elsewhere:

• Your conversion history (value entered, units selected, date);
• Your favourite categories and last used units;
• The appearance theme you selected;
• The daily conversion counter of the free version;
• The exchange rate cache (see section 2).

You can clear the history at any time from the dedicated screen in the app. Uninstalling permanently deletes all of this data.

2. Exchange Rates and Internet Connection

Every category works offline, except Currencies. To obtain up-to-date rates, the app queries a public exchange rate API.

• This request transmits no personal data: it only asks for the day's rate list;
• The rates received are cached on your device so conversions still work offline;
• None of the amounts you type are sent over the Internet: the calculation is performed locally.

3. In-App Purchases

The Premium purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We neither receive nor store any payment data: the app simply checks with Apple whether the purchase is active on your account.

4. Advertising

The free version of Pocket Convert displays ads via Google AdMob (banners, full-screen ads and optional videos that grant extra conversions). The Premium version removes all advertising. AdMob may collect the following information:

• Advertising identifier (IDFA);
• App usage data;
• Device information and approximate location.

In accordance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework, we request your explicit consent before collecting your advertising identifier. You can refuse or modify this consent at any time in your iOS device settings.

5. Analytics and Statistics

Pocket Convert does not integrate any analytics or tracking tools. We do not collect data about your app usage.

6. Security

Your data remains entirely on your device and benefits from iOS's built-in security protections:

• Local storage encryption provided by iOS;
• Access restricted to the app, in line with the iOS sandbox;
• No transmission of your data to our servers.

7. Children

Pocket Convert is not specifically directed at children and does not knowingly collect any data relating to them.
